Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve/Visitor Center and Restrooms
The Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve is an 1106 acre lakeshore property bordering the southwest corner of Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park.
The new visitor center, which serves as the main entry-point into the Preserve, is a one-story, 7500 square foot facility built to achieve the U.S. Green Building Council’s highest level of certification—LEED Platinum. Find out more>>
Bronx Zoo Eco-Restroom
The Bronx Zoo has been educating and entertaining visitors since 1899. Owned and operated by the Wildlife Conservation Society, the Zoo has a strong focus on environmental conservation.
In early 2004, management decided to replace the restrooms by
the Bronxdale entrance in order to better serve the thousands
of visitors entering and exiting the Zoo via the adjacent parking

Queens Botanical Garden Visitor/Administration Building
Located in Queens, New York, around the corner from the Mets’ Shea
Stadium, the city-owned Queens Botanical Garden provides its
300,000 annual visitors with a welcome reprieve from the usual
sights and sounds of city life. While the Garden has a reputation
for expressing remarkable cultural and horticultural diversity
in its displays, it is also building a reputation for its efforts
to protect the environment.
In
the late nineties, the Garden began a push for environmentally-sound
